Manelick in South Africa

It's always interesting to see the spread of news on the internet and who will pick up a story. But, I have to admit, this one caught me by surprise.

Keep in mind Ryan Manelick was killed 3 and 1/2 years ago.

The image I am including is a screen capture from the Security Affairs section of the website of the United States Diplomatic Mission to South Africa. Under the heading Military Civilian Relations is a summary and link to Daniel Halpern's article in Rolling Stone magazine, Death of a Contractor. At the bottom of the page: "This site is maintained by the Public Affairs Section of the Department of State in South Africa."

I'm glad to see the story get publicity. I'm just a little puzzled as to why the US Embassy in South Africa picked it up.
